Our recommendation
Take a taxi. Uber from Arlanda (Stockholm airport) takes about 1 h 20 min and costs around 1,000 SEK per car.
By car
About 1 h 20 min from Arlanda (Stockholm airport), 1 hour from Stockholm. Free parking at the castle.
By train
Arlanda Express to Stockholm Central (20 min, 340 SEK), then a regional train to Gnesta (about 40 min, around 120 SEK). About 500 SEK per person one way in total. Buy tickets in the Arlanda Express and Mälardalstrafik apps before you board. From Gnesta station, bus 543 to the Södertuna stop (8 min) or a short taxi ride.
Good to Know
Venue & Location
A castle in the Swedish countryside, a short drive from the small town of Gnesta. Everything this weekend happens here, with plenty to eat and drink on site.
Dress code
Friday and breakfasts: elegant casual.
Ceremony: morning coat or a formal suit for men, cocktail dress for women, hats optional.
Saturday dinner: black tie or national costume. There is time to change after the ceremony.
Costs
You pay for your travel, and for your hotel room at check-out. All meals, with drinks, are on us. Extra drinks from the bar are on you.
Kids
Children are welcome when they're named on your invitation. For the ceremony and the Saturday dinner, we ask parents to make sure they can be fully present, so those two moments stay calm for everyone.
Gifts
Gifts are optional. If you'd like to give something, we plan to buy a piece of art to remember this weekend by, and any contribution towards it is welcome.
